On February 25-26, 2025, the 45th Session of the Executive Council of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) was held in Tunis. The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Mr. Azamsho Sharifi, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Foreign Policy Issues took part in this meeting.

During the regular meeting of the ICESCO Executive Council, issues related to the results of the organization’s activities in 2024 were discussed, and plans and projects for the coming years in the areas of science, education, and culture were identified.
