On December 11, 2024 at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Headquarters in Paris a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Ismatullo Nasredin and UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences Ms. Lidia Brito.

During the meeting, the main areas of cooperation between Tajikistan and UNESCO were discussed, and the parties exchanged views on the prospects for developing cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture.

At the same time, they expressed views on the High-Level International Conference on Glaciers Conservation to be held in Dushanbe in May 2025.
